First I will say that the NASCAR sanctioning body is a pure joke now. It's all about the dollar to them which is obvious. And since they are basically the judge,jury, and executioner, they do what they want to who they want. I cant remember a single time in history they have ever admitted a mistake or turned over any decision due to an appeal.
But I can see the basic rational and that is, NASCAR wants to keep NASCAR racing "American". I am really suprised they let toyota into the mix (i am glad they did). It's a southern born, american sport and imo opinion it should stay that way.
